With over 15 years of relative industry experience, companies rely on us to deliver Quality candidates over quantity. Our goal is to enhance the careers of the candidates we represent and to provide companies with the talent they need to grow. Working with a reputable recruiter gives you access to opportunities you may never get a chance to hear about. Managers hire us to do the screening because they are technology professionals, not recruiting specialists. Many times we provide key players for unadvertised or confidential positions, or those where the manager cannot devote the time necessary to conduct a thorough search. Because of that, we have been able to attract top notch, technology savvy, bright individuals and help them grow in great companies.
A job search from the comfort of your desk may seem appealing, but you must be aware of the facts. While the internet is a great way to research companies, experts have found that it is not the most effective way to find a new job. Employers tell us sifting through a plethora of on-line resumes is extremely time consuming. It adds greatly to the hours they put in trying to hire the best people for their openings. Job seekers tell us that they have had much less success than they anticipated on the internet. They say it’s hard trying to stand out based only on their resume. They perceive that they are getting lost in the shuffle without the chance to shine. They want access to hiring managers. These frustrations can be eliminated by working with competent experts. We have long term relationships with companies that have come to trust and rely on us to provide them with compatible professionals. We give our clients access to these hiring managers. We give hiring managers a relief from the stacks of resumes – and a reason to take notice of you and your resume! Our client-companies greatly appreciate the work our consultants do. We take them from the drudgery of analyzing many resumes. They know we reach out and find the exact types they hope to find. They appreciate our attention to their needs. Not only do we make their jobs easier – we make yours easier too! BOTTOM LINE: The web is a fantastic tool in the exploration of the kinds of companies where you may want to work. But, if your goal is to get noticed and get the job, the quickest and most effective path is through the recruiter. Should you choose to turn to TechEdge Recruiting, Inc., you will find that our connections, commitment and care for your career goals will lead you to career success.
Submit Your Resume
We can help you determine if it’s time to move on. We’ll advise you on the best way to know if it’s wise to test your “marketability.” We can conduct a highly selective passive search, informing you of opportunities that you have described to be of interest. We work with many individuals on this basis to make sure they aren’t missing out.
Your Resume
The resume is the first thing a potential employee sees. It’s the first impression you make to a potential employer. A clean, professional resume that is concise, yet specific, can be the greatest tool in getting you in front of a potential new employer. Our clients tell us that they want to see a resume that is in an understandable format and lets them see your strengths and your background in a logical manner.

In Information Technology, they like to see your skill set at the top, listing your technical knowledge, systems, programming languages etc. Then, they want your work experience from the present to past. A clear format, with “bullets” is always the most organized way to highlight your achievements and responsibilities. Your fonts should be easy on the eye, bolding subjects like your title. Next, show your educational background. It should include not only your formal schooling, degrees, years, but also any certifications or job-related education that applies. Companies do not want to be overwhelmed with non-essential information. Remember, the resume is an outline, something to guide the conversation in your interview. It’s not your autobiography.
We know what our client companies want to see in a resume. Please understand that when you choose to work with us, we may suggest you fine tune certain things on your resume to better reflect your talents. We may suggest you elaborate more on achievements we uncover in our interview with you. We do this because we know that you are an IT professional, not a resume writing expert.
