Technical Account Coordinator/Manager

Overview

The Technical Account Manager is responsible for effectively managing relationships for one or more Premier Market clients and is considered to be a senior member of the staff. You would play a role in defining company policies, procedures, and the strategic direction of our product offering. As such, you would serve as an advocate for our company.

You will need to possess a deep understanding of the capabilities of our service/software offerings and work closely with clients to define and document business requirements/specifications that are clear and comprehensive. You collaborates with the technical services delivery group when implementing client customization requests.

You would also be responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of all operational issues and client commitments. This includes, but is not limited to check processing, phone support, email support, client mailings, and product functionality requests. You may be assigned one or more Account Coordinators to assist in managing operational functions for his/her Premier client(s). In this case, you may be responsible for training assigned AC’s to ensure task execution is timely and accurate.

Responsibilities

Primary contact for client inquiries

Primary client contact to address/resolve operational and support issues

Executes standard software configurations with clients

Manages new client/program implementations ensuring agreed upon timelines/deliverables are met

Ensures client satisfaction by cultivating and building successful relationships with clients

Coordinates issue resolution with appropriate internal department contacts

Provides updates to appropriate parties regarding issue resolution

Educates clients of feature/functions available to them

Provides expertise and training to clients for newly introduced standard feature functions

Manages client expectations related to service and software deliverables

May suggest new or enhanced procedures that improve operational efficiency

Provides learning opportunities for less senior AC’s

Leverages the capabilities of the software to provide workable solutions to client’s business requirements

Comprehensively defines business requirements for all custom client functionality (e.g., reports, portlets, functions)

Has a comprehensive understanding of the capabilities, limitations, and future direction of all our software and service offerings

Leverages the capabilities of the software to provide workable solutions to client’s business requirements

Identifies and recommends new revenue producing products and services

Provides input into establishing priorities for product enhancement requests

Required Skills

3 – 7 Years of experience in technical account management

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Mathematics

Deep background in senior relationship management role in a SaaS company

Understanding and experience in Waterfall and Agile development methodologies

Experience using ticket/issue tracking software (e.g. Jira, Axosoft, FogBugz)

Ability to develop multi-unit project plans including forecasting and budgeting

High understanding of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel

High level of technical aptitude and the ability to think critically with technology

Past experience working in relational databases

Highly proficient in time management skills

Adept at multi-tasking with success and confidence

Ability to work effectively individually and collaboratively with team

Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Desired Skills

Project management experience

SQL skills using SQL+ or SQL Developer

Front end coding skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)

Ability to define and document business requirements
