Due to company growth, my client is looking for the following: This is a perm position and along with strong OBIEE and OBI experience, you must have Oracle EBS module implementation experience or exposure.

Excellent skills as a Functional Analyst – great communication skills, gathering requirements, documenting requirements, etc. Experience with OBI reporting. Must be an OBI expert Demonstrated experience supporting end users from requirements gathering to end user testing.Working knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite. A “plus” would be knowledge of ETL/Informatica.
The candidate will act as the lead for cross-functional Accounting/Financial, HR, Sales and Marketing reporting projects involving Oracle Financials eBusiness Suite R12, Salesforce.com, Oracle HRIS, and other SaaS business systems. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for all OBI Reporting, supporting users primarily at our HQ’s on a daily basis and all other users across North America and internationally in the future. This position will work closely with all users of OBI including Directors, Managers and Analysts from the Accounting / Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing teams and IT to define, build, test reports. Responsible for unit testing and facilitate user testing of reports in the test environments. In addition, this role will assist with day to day Reporting support, enhancements, and major project initiatives that involve the understanding of the modules in Oracle EBS and other business systems. This position will evolve into a key player in the identification and development and implementation of the OBI Reporting Roadmap initiatives that meet the needs of the business. This position will also participate in Oracle Applications projects and enhancements, serving as a BI project track leader and/or team member and will need to function both independently and as a member of the IS teams.
Ideal candidate should have extensive experience designing, developing and implementing Reporting solutions for Oracle E-Business suite using Oracle BI Apps. Experience with OBIEE Dashboards and Answers, Discoverer, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, Query tools like TOAD, SQL*Plus and PL/SQL programming in Linux/UNIX environments. Understanding of Multi-Dimensional data models, Star schemas and Data warehouses. Knowledge of Informatica and other ETL tools. Excellent communication skills and high degree of customer focus.
Work with Finance, HR, Sales and other departments to gather reporting requirements
Design, develop and maintain Oracle OBIEE reporting to support strategic and operational reporting initiatives.
Create technical mapping, design documents for both Informatica and OBIEE
Modify existing and develop new reports in OBIEE based on user requirements in an effort to effectively report on the data available in EBS and Salesfoce.com.
Manage security and access controls for all OBI users.
Consult on projects requiring specialized EBS accounting and/or financial systems functional expertise.
Lead special analyses in support of initiatives like Internal/External Audits and SOX compliance in the current reporting environment.
Develop and implement training courses to ensure users have the necessary knowledge and skills to use OBI reports and dashboards effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot reporting issues with Oracle Applications (EBS), developing solutions that ensure financial transactions are properly treated in OBI.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting/Finance
8+ years of business intelligence analytical experience
3+ years of OBIEE/Data warehousing experience
4+ years of prior experience in either accounting or finance systems role working at a high level on Oracle Financials/EBS, e.g., implementing Oracle reports required.
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI or OBIEE) and Informatica
Must possess the ability to provide technical and functional guidance, improve business reporting and support application users.
Strong Oracle Financials report development experience required, ideally, e-Business Suites R12 (EBS), to automate reporting and the ability to act as a liaison between the IS department and other functional departments to integrate SaaS software systems like Salesforce, icims, Benefits Passport etc…
Good understanding of Oracle Financials/EBS of accounting and financial software, i.e., GL. A/P, Order Management, Service Contracts, Costing & Billing, A/R, etc. required
Experience using MS Office Suite including proficiency in using Excel required.
Well organized with strong time management practices with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with a commitment to timely delivery of projects/tasks.
Must have strong problem solving skills including analytical, logical and investigative.
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken required.
