Principal Oracle Financials Systems Analyst-very competitive base + bonus

Perm role in Greater Boston, MA area

My client is growing and is seeking the following:

We are looking for a versatile and motivated Principal Systems Analyst with significant Oracle E-Business Suite experience. The ideal candidate will have had implementation experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, Order to Cash and/or Project Accounting. The successful candidate will join the Corporate IS team which maintains the operation and integrity of the Oracle R12 modules currently implemented.

Responsibilities:

Lead projects, working with both system integrators and outsourced vendor, to successful on-time delivery through formal project management and software development life cycle methodology.

Work closely with end-users to understand business process improvements, identify and document functional and technical requirements, and offer technical solutions.

Advise on application functionality that may already be in use and features that may be considered for activation.

Implement automated solutions through a formal software development life cycle including requirement definition, project planning and software testing in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant environment.

Develop, coordinate, and implement test plans for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches, and upgrades.

Contribute to user documentation and train-the-trainer activities.

Provide post-production support on a scheduled 24×7 rotation basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years Oracle E-Business Suite applications experience.

Experience performing business analysis for Oracle Applications 11.5.10 or greater with solid knowledge of module functionality, setup, flexfields, workflow, and profile options. R12 experience preferred.

Knowledge of IS/business consulting in a Sarbanes Oxley environment, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, systems integration, and business intelligence desired.

Solid and proven experience with all phases of software development life cycle including requirement definition, project planning, formal software testing methodology In a Sarbanes Oxley compliant environment.

Working knowledge of TOAD and SQLPlus query tools and the Oracle E-Business Suite data model is a plus.

Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
