Principal IT Buisness Analyst, Supply Chain- up to 130K base + bonus + stock- north of Boston, MA

 

As the IT business partner and relationship manager to the Supply Chain department, this position is responsible for overall IT service delivery to the Supply Chain function.  As a strategic consultant, this position is responsible for providing consultation and deployment of information technology solutions to drive efficiency, flexibility and scalability. Lastly, this position is responsible for providing IT application support for the key Supply Chain business application – Oracle Inventory and process manufacturing systems (OPM).

The role is expected to partner with internal & external stakeholders to gain a deeper understanding of various Supply Chain business processes, supply-chain partners and the supporting technologies.  In addition, this role is expected to keep abreast of supply chain IT technologies related to Pharmaceutical industry, and implementation best practices. Using these insights, this role is responsible for identifying technology related opportunities, assessing such opportunities, collaborating with the stakeholders to prioritize it and deploying technology solutions.

Job duties of this role include the following:

Manage large and complex IT implementation project supporting the supply chain function including roll out of new modules, expanding use of existing system to support additional products, additional contract manufactures [CMO], acquisitions and organic growth

Collaborate with key supply chain and finance leaders proactively to IT related opportunities and deploy solutions that meet the current and future needs of the organization

Work on opportunities with abstract scope across functional areas of the business

Identify and evaluate fundamental issues for the finance areas through assessment of intangible variables

Apply advance knowledge of supply chain and cost accounting methods to develop process and system solutions that are scalable and flexible

 Interact internally and externally with executive level management requiring negotiation of extremely difficult matters to influence policy making bodies both internally and externally

Communicate with department members, vendors, and customers of all levels including occasionally with senior management

Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people

Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments

Work independently with limited supervision

Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to virtual team members

Manage the key supply chain management system in accordance to compliance with SOX, CFR Part II compliance  and other statuary requirements

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

Master ’s degree in Business or Accounting

10+ years experience in gathering, analyzing, designing and implementing  Oracle E-business Inventory management system

10+ experience in performing the client relationship management role

10+ year functional experience in various Oracle E-business modules – OPM, Supply chain planning and Cost Accounting

10+ years experience in managing client relationship

5+ years of managing direct reports and virtual teams

Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing Oracle Inventory and supply chain management system to support various manufacturing models – in-house manufacturing, contract manufacturing and hybrid models

Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbal in an organized and concise manner

Demonstrated ability to communicate with Senior management

Demonstrated strong organization skills

Demonstrate experience with Implementing and supporting systems for pharmaceutical companies

Demonstrated knowledge of CFR-Part 11 compliance requirement

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Demonstrate experience with Implementing and supporting systems for pharmaceutical companies

 Strong interpersonal, analysis and project management skills

Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbal in an organized and concise manner

Global deployment experience

This is a growth position, mostly a functional role, not a lot of OPM out there so they are looking for a good project manager, a good relationship manager and in-depth Oracle knowledge and a strong understanding of Supply Chain.
